A Mother's bragging

Yes it's a totally a bragging Mother blog post.

We did a photo shoot for this company Ten Sticky Fingers, it was just helping out a fellow WAHM from daycare. You may recognize some other WAHMs gorgeous children in the photos as well.

I ended up buying him this shirt - cause it was such a gorgeous fabric and instead of leaves, they are little skulls - how cool is that.

I am trying to clean up

up an overflowing box, in the search for a pattern, and came across this sadly neglected half finished UFO :( I've really wanted to try and finish a UFO at least every month, but it ain't happening. But maybe now it's here, I'll be motivated to finish it.

I think I'm just about Caterpillar'ed out

But anyways, I have a few more for this afternoon to list. Very late afternoon or late evening.

I have an auction that's just started Caterpillar Heaven !!!! It will be one of the last caterpillars that I do. Once the small amount of remaining fabric is gone, it's gone. I won't be repeating the designs.

Shane is also updating the Cherub's Kiss homepage to include details of how to get a custom nappy. No hyena'ing required, just send in an email. You'll be able to choose up to 4 nappies from the basic range - ie no hand embroidery and no hand-dye jobs will be available, but you can choose from Auriel's or HoneyBoy! choice will be entirely up to you.

2.46pm Update - I didn't get as much done as I had hoped, packing up the orders from Friday night and family stuff have taken up most of the day, so what I will have for tonight is up there previewing atm, Shane will add the photos and will make them live later on tonight. I can't give you a time, as that will be up to him.

The rest of the work I didn't get finished, will be randomly stocked throughout the week, I won't be giving any times away, as they get finished and photographed, they'll go up and live.

Saturday

Today we've been to the airport seeing Shane's parents off on an extended overseas trip, and are only just home, therefore don't expect any stock to go up today for sale. Keep an eye out later tomorrow afternoon for a few more though. Just need my snapper aka Shane to snap a few more.

What's on my desk today?

Yup that's right more Munch Crunch Fitteds, and they are soft and cuddly. Some will have sherpa, some bamboo velour, some embrodiery.

Hmmm, don't know what happened there :( but anyways Blogger seems to be playing funny games. All littlies are now asleep, and I'm stocking at 8.30pm Queensland time. Anything not finished for tonight will be randomly stocked over the weekend.

Monday Morning

Ah well, things didn't go quite according to plan last night, but anyways here are some photos. I think Adobe hates me this morning, cause the photos aren't the greatest, but anyways it's too cold to think to be honest.

And 2 customs - one with turtles for a turtle fan and the customer provided her own fabric for the combi nappy. They are winging to their new home today :)

Shane is in charge of stockings today - so I have no idea when the nappies on OZeBaby will be stocked lol!!

Sunday

Well after a big storm last night - it's turned windy and freezing cold - the littlies insist on taking off their warm woolies and running around barefoot sigh!

But anyways I'm still coughing away, I'm sure the cold wind isn't helping. Hence the no pictures of the Munch Crunch ........ caterpillars. But Shane is taking photos now and the blurb it up up on OZeBaby, so they'll be listed tonight at some stage.

I've completed 1 custom this weekend and another half a one. It should have been finished but unfortunately I chopped off half the cowboys heads :( Anyways it's already found a new home, but I need to remake the cowboys on the chocolate minky. Whatever possessed me to do a feature panel on minky I'll never know - Minky is just the slipperest sucker around lol!!!

Now a PIF - for the first 3 people that reply to this post - sometime in the next 365 you'll receive a surprise from me - could be tomorrow, could be at Christmas. Please PIF on your own blog if you have one.

Wow ladies you are very fast!!!! I've already got more than 3 for the PIF. I will honour all of them though. Please PIF on your own blogs, or do a RAOK just because it's a lovely thing to do - and it does make you feel good :D

The Weekend

Well I'm now got the lurgy - I'm coughing and sneezing like no tomorrow. But I have a few customs that I'm working on this weekend - Please see below if you are waiting on a custom to see where I'm up to. I will be keeping that updated, so you can see where your order is.

I've embroidered some fat caterpillars on some nappies and they will be randomly listed on OZeBaby sometime over the weekend. Pics on here later today.

And I've been tagged, but I'll have to think on my answers first lol!!

Caterpillars!!!!!

Well after countless emails, pleading for more, I've sourced some more caterpillar fabric. Will be working on some of these this week. Baby K has croup again :( so there probably won't be much of anything until it subsides. Peeks will preview here first :) I've already started on some and oh my, oh my, they are looking munch crunch scrumptious!!!

A while between posts

Well not the best photos I'm sure you'll agree, but I was rushing to take them. I'm patiently waiting (not lol!) for the garments in action!!!

A caterpillar set for Toby in lime green Malden Mills 200wt pants and the gorgeous bamboo fleece long sleeved top



and a hand smocked top for the gorgeous Miya - size 4 - shirred on the back - yes I know it's cold, but we have so much more summer in Queensland than winter, and it looks pretty good over long sleeves and leggings as well.

Sea Life

A custom order comprising of Size 2 Auriels - 1 with teal fleece outer, and a feature panel of killer whales and a matching bamboo french/terry long sleeve t-shirt and a minky AIO with 'Ole Blue Eyes' Minky and a Dolphin feature panel.



Coming to OzeBaby a bit later in the day - a couple of bamboo long sleeve t-shirts - in a generous size 0 - they actually fit Katherine at 21mths of age, but she is a petite poppit at just over 10kg. Please check measurements before purchasing.



Also just being finished off are about 20 size 1 Auriels in the hemp/bamboo combination - they will be listed at our Cherub's Kiss store later this afternoon. There is a good mixture of boys/girls and a couple of oopsies as well.

Please note payment for any Cherub's Kiss order is required within 3 days of purchase, unless other arrangements have been made. Orders not paid after this time will be cancelled and returned to stock.
